Repair & Re-dip Policy

We stand by our products and do our best to keep our jewelry in top shape! Although we cannot guarantee KTC jewelry under all circumstances, we are happy to repair all damage from normal wear on our handmade pieces and help you clean pieces free of charge. Unfortunately, we only do repairs on KTC pieces.

Repairs

When you send us an item for repair, please include a detailed note with your contact information and the problem with the item as well as a check for $5.95 for return postage. If possible, e-mail us a photo of the broken item ahead of time so that we can determine what work is needed. We try to keep our repair charges free or as low as possible, although this is determined on a case-by-case basis. Before we make the repair, we will follow up via email to let you know if there is a charge.

Re-dipping

Handmade: KTC will re-dip pieces from our own handmade collection only. We do not accept pieces that were not purchased from KTcollection for re-dipping. If you have a piece of jewelry from our store that you would like re-dipped, please contact us at info@ktcollection.com with a photo so that we can asses if it is possible to re-dip.
Costume jewelry: Not all costume jewelry can be re-dipped, but if we think your piece is an exception we are happy to try. Unfortunately, we cannot make any guarantees for the re-dipping of costume pieces.

Exceptions: It is not possible to re-dip multi-metal pieces or certain pieces with multiple encased stones.

Some general information about re-dipping:
• It takes between 3 and 6 weeks.
• The fee is $15 per piece plus tax if you pick the item up from our store.
• The fee is $20 if you would like it shipped upon completion. If there are multiple pieces to be dipped, each additional piece is $15.

Replacements

We understand that it can be very disappointing to lose an earring and we will try to accommodate requests for replacements. We sell single earrings from our handmade collection only; we are unable to replace single costume earrings.

Returns & Exchanges

We have a 14-day exchange policy. Items must be in their original packaging with the receipt, and can be returned to our store in person or via mail. We are not responsible for shipping on exchanges, and do not offer free shipping on exchanged items, even if the total is over $85.

In-store purchase: If you are unhappy with your purchase, we are happy to help you find a different KT piece or offer you a store credit which doesn’t expire. No refunds.

Online purchase: We realize it can be difficult to purchase jewelry without first trying it on! If you aren’t interested in making an exchange or receiving store credit, we will allow refunds for online orders only.
To return an item by mail:
• Items must be returned in their original packaging. They should be wrapped carefully and sent in a padded envelope to the following address:

Defective items:
If something arrives damaged, please contact us within one week of receipt at our studio (212) 253-2571. We will send you a replacement and advise you on how best to return the damaged item to us.
